I was amazed with the website www.khanacademy.org . It brings the user a new approach to learning. As an online classroom with exercises and youtube video together to toutor the globe. It brings a delightful game play feel with achievments and badges coupled with a competitive edge that was lacking in the classroom. It frees up a teachers time in the class by allowing students that have succeded on subjects to mentor other students that need assistance in those areas they my be struggling. It allows everyone regardless of age, learning style or location to learn at their own pace in a fun and colaberative medium.
All that is required is an internet connection.
